Dear Mountain Sunrise,

I am a Registered Veterinary Technician working as Equine Health Coordinator at Redwings Horse Sanctuary in Lockwood, California.

I am writing to give you a little positive feedback.

We have many older horses at the sanctuary. Many of them are on "pellet only" diets because of missing teeth.

Redwings had been feeding pellets from one company for a long time. We started having trouble with feed delivery and quality of the feed. In our search for a new company to provide our pellets, we came across Mountain Sunrise. We have never been so happy.

We regularly test new feed for sand content. The Mountain Sunrise pellets passed our in-house test with flying colors.

Our horses did a taste test...they approved! We placed our first order with the friendly staff at Mountain Sunrise.

The minute the first shipment of feed arrived, we knew that we had made a great choice. The smell of freshly cut hay filled the air as the feed was unloaded.

We add water to some of the feed to make sure our horses that gum the food are able to digest properly. Well, these pellets are incredible when we add water! When wet, they took up 1/3 more space in volume than our old pellets. To me this just added value to the product. The pellets actually have more to them than our old pellets! To further confirm this, after a month on the new pellets, the horses that had been on the same measure of feed for years, had to get their feed cut back. More calories per pellet, less filler, higher quality all together! If I had old pellets to compare to the new feed at the time, I would have guessed that the Mountain Sunrise pellets weighed more than the old ones.

Redwings, it's horses and volunteers think that Mountain Sunrise is a quality company that is putting out a high quality feed!

Sincerely,

Michelle Beagle R.V.T.
